A history imbued with commitment and quality
Essential Process is a young company made up of young people, but with a track record spanning more than 20 years in the design and manufacture of food supplements for third parties.
1997
The parent company, which manufactures food supplements for people that are aimed at third parties, is established.
2003
Sisters Sara and Marta Grau take over the family food supplement company, which was established by their father six years ago.
2008
The company’s growth involves the need for a first extension of warehouse and office space.
2015
Demand continues to grow. New warehouses are acquired, and the company moves to Montcada i Reixach (Barcelona), where it opens new and modern facilities to ensure top quality products.
2016
The development and manufacture of supplements both for humans and pets is started. This is achieved by ensuring that there is no cross-contamination in the plant.
2022
Due to the industry’s exponential growth, the different business lines are diversified. The creation of Essential Process, a company that exclusively manufactures pet food supplements for third parties, is kicked off. A partner allows us to start the new company, while staying a family business.
2023
The new company is established on 23 January of this year. It boasts its own facilities and 7 clean rooms for supplementary compound food. The first Essential Process invoice is issued on 11 April of that very year.
2025
Essential Process gets its GMP+ certification. It thus becomes a leading company in the pet food supplement industry.
